Carla Pellegrino Exhibits Unsurpassed Excellence in the Culinary Arts
Carla Pellegrino named a Cambridge VIP member for the 2010-2011 year

LAS VEGAS, NV, December 1, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Carla Pellegrino, Executive Chef and Owner of Bratalian and Partner and Executive Chef of Bacio by Carla Pellegrino at the Tropicana Casino and Resort, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in culinary arts.

Citing the support of her family as her primary motivator, Ms. Pellegrino has served as the executive chef and owner of Bratalian for five years. Additionally, she serves as the executive chef for Bacio by Carla Pellegrino in the Tropicana Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. An expert in the field of culinary arts, her daily responsibilities include creating menus and tasting food, as well as administrative functions such as reviewing food costs, inventory and services.

Ms. Pellegrino's family owns Rao's Restaurant Group, which is a 114-year-old Italian restaurant. She made an appearance on the Food Network as a guest on Bobby Flay's show, "Throwdown," for the Christmas special, during which she won the "Feast of Seven Fishes" contest. Previously, she worked as the executive chef and owner of Baldoria Restaurant.

Dedicated to her love for food, Ms. Pellegrino completed coursework at The French Culinary Institute in 2000. She is a member of Women in Food, and has been recognized as an honored chef by the James Beard Foundation. She is a supporter of the Nevada Cancer Institute and ChildFund Chaine Des Rotisseurs. Most recently, she was featured in the premiere edition of Pro-Files Magazine - the newest publication released by Cambridge Who's Who.
