A host of games companies will head to Naples to share the latest innovations at an upcoming conference.

NAPLES, ITALY, March 24, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A huge entertainment exhibition called GameCon will take place in Naples starting from next month.

The event runs from April 29th to May 1st at the Mostra d'Oltremare and Castel Sant'Elmo and will showcase all the latest innovations in the gaming industry.

Anyone keen to try out the latest titles can spend some time at the booths provided, while there will also be the opportunity to enter a number of competitions.

Production companies will have their own stands at the conference where they will share information on the projects they are working on and sell programmes and interactive entertainment devices.

It is not just video games that will take centre stage, as plenty of toys and more unusual pastimes will be represented as well.

Endrucomics, Alastor Games, Kaboom, Cartoon Passion, Euromanga Publishing and JapAnime will be among the exhibitors.

It will be the sixth year GameCon has been held in Naples.

Tickets cost EUR10 (GBP8.70) for three days. The exhibition is open from 10:00 to 20:00 local time on Friday and Saturday. It closes 22:00 on Sunday.
