Viippola has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her extraordinary effort in the Interactive Gaming Industry. As the Executive Coordinator for the Interactive Gaming Council since 2001, Janet has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Established in 1996, The Interactive Gaming Council is a nonprofit organization which is the leading trade association for the international interactive gaming industry. It was created to provide a forum for interested parties to address issues and advance common interests in the global interactive gaming industry, to establish fair and responsible trade guidelines and practices that enhance consumer confidence in interactive gaming products and services, and to serve as the industry's public policy advocate and information clearinghouse.
During her educational career, Janet earned a Diploma in Programming. She was a finalist in the Hidden Talent of the Year Award from the Women in Gaming Awards in London. In the time away from her busy schedule, Janet is an avid outdoors enthusiast who greatly enjoys hiking and kayaking.
