"Most people want this summer to be filled with laughter, smiles, friends and fun," says DFW Elite Auto Rental.com owner Ron Sturgeon. "We have a lot of people who rent a car from us once a year for an anniversary or a birthday," says Sturgeon. "We would like to entice them to drive something different a little more often now that summer's almost here," says Sturgeon.

The Dallas car rental agency will kick off the 2008 Summer of Fun promotion on June 10th. Car enthusiasts who take advantage of the promotion will enjoy a 24-hour rental of a Dodge Viper SRT-10 any weekend in June. "If you want to turn heads this holiday weekend, it's hard to beat 510 HP, a drop top and the head-snapping acceleration of a Viper Convertible rental," says Sturgeon.

Car enthusiasts returning the Viper will still be able to choose three additional full day rentals from among DFW Elite Auto Rental's most popular cars. The rental days may be used individually or consecutively any day this summer.

"The Summer of Fun Promotion features some of our more popular cars. It is a great way to add zest to a summer escape," says DFW Elite Auto Rental.com General Manager Tom Warren. In addition to a Viper rental in June, the other rental cars included in the promotion are the 2006 Porsche 911, the 2005 Lotus Elise, and the 2006 Corvette Z06. The Summer of Fun promotion includes one 24 hour weekend or weekday rental with each of the Summer of Fun cars for only $2008.
